Pengaruh Pola Asuh Orangtua Terhadap Kedisiplinan Anak Di Sekolah Minggu Buddha Vihara Dipa Prabava Kabupaten Pringsewu Tahun 2019

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parenting on the Discipline of children in the Buddhist Sunday School of Dipa Prabava Temple Pringsewu District in 2019. The problem in the Buddhist Sunday School of Dipa Prabava Temple was their lack of attention to the material conveyed by the Sunday school supervisors. They are not focused and tend to talk alone when learning is on going.
Parenting are forms that are applied in order to care for, nurture, guide and train and exert influence. Parents are the first to be responsible for organizing, coordinating and providing stimuli (Rahman, 2017: 83). Whereas Discipline is an attempt to control oneself and the mental attitude of an individual or society in developing obedience and obedience to rules and regulations based on encouragement and awareness that arise from the heart.
This study includes descriptive quantitative research with data processing techniques based on the results of the dissemination of the instrument. The tool to collect data in the form of a questionnaire which amounts to a statement of 44 items and respondents as many as 37 children, using the Likert scale on the answer. The initial steps are used to test the magnitude of the effect of using a simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS 16.0 Program.
Based on the results of hypothesis testing and simple linear regression obtained tcount of 9.071 and ttable of 37 respondents with dk n-2 so that it becomes 35 respondents with a significant level of 0.05 is 1.690 then it can be seen that tcount ≥ ttable with a value of 9.071 ≥ 1.690 or sig ≤ 0.05 (0,000 ≤ 0.05), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. While the R Square value of 0.702 or (0.702 x 100% = 70.2%). The coefficient of determination stated that parenting had an influence on the discipline of children in the Buddhist Sunday School of Dipa Prabava Temple Pringsewu in the amount of 70.2%. While 29.8% of children's discipline is influenced by other factors not included in the regression equation.
