Abstract

The process of learning is a core activity of the education. The purpose of education can be realized when the student is able to understand the subject matter which is received in the form of the acquisition of good value. The factors that affect learning, one of which is the interest in learning. The use of learning models that are less varied in the learning process Buddhism affect student interest. Students may feel tired and less active in learning, therefore requiring proper handling. Thus the researchers want to solve the problem by learning the Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Division. The purpose of the research was to determine whether there is an increased interest in student learning through the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Division IV class SD Bodhisattva on the subjects of Buddhist religion.
The Cooperative Learning Student Teams Achievement Division is teamwork to achieve the feat. Cooperative Learning Student Teams Achievement Division, the students were divided into groups of five people of diverse abilities, gender, and tribe. Interest has a considerable influence on the students' learning process, students who have an interest in learning will earnestly carry out learning activities in order to achieve good study results.
The study was conducted in SD Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung, using classroom action research, which became the subject of research were students of class IV (four) totaling twenty-six students. Data analysis is carried out by several phases: the selection stage, the stage of exposure, and the concluding stage of the observations of the sheet observations made by the observer I and II.
The results showed that in the first cycle reached an average with a percentage of 66.5%,in the second cycle a percentage of 81.5% and the percentage of the second cycle increased by 14%, ie by 95%. the researchers did the study of cycles I,II and III increased by 29%. This means the Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Division may increase interest Student Class IV SD Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung.
Conclusions Learning Model Cooperative Student Teams Achievement Division can increase student interest. The researchers propose suggestions for consideration by the teachers make learning Buddhist education by implementing the Cooperative Learning Model Student Teams Achievement Division.
