Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is influence, and how much influence the learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) against the interest in learning. This research was done in Bodhisattva' temple Bandar Lampung. The problem that occurred in the Bodhisattva Buddha Sunday School students is lack of interest in learning, lack of attention to the material being described, less visual material in presenting the material, and the length of the learning process so that the resulting boredom role in student learning.
Cooperative Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) Model Learning is a model of learning in groups of four to five people in one group. In this research is prioritizes cooperation among students to achieve the learning objectives. Students are required to work well together, socialize, as well as the responsible individual and group learning activities to achieve the goal of better learning.
The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The research subject is students of Buddha Sunday School in Bodhisattva' temple Bandar Lampung which consists of 40 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire with Likert scale. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression using SPSS 16.0 and followed by t-test.
Based on the results of hypothesis testing and simple linear regression of 8.259 tcount and ttabel of 40 respondents with dk n-2 so that the 38 respondents with a significance level of 0.05 is 1,686. Based on this, it can be seen that t count > t table (8.259>1.686) or Sig <0.05 (0.000 <0.05), then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.While the value of Rsquare in this research was 64.2%, which means that Numbered Head Together (NHT) affects 64.2% interest in learning.
Based on the analysis that has been done it is concluded that there is influence of Cooperative Learning Model Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) in increasing interest in Buddha Sunday School Student Learning (SMB) Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung.The magnitude of the effect is 64.2%. While 35.8% interest in student learning Buddha Sunday School is influenced by other factors not included in this research.
