Abstract

Learning Buddhist on V grade in Bodhisattva elementary school is still less active because student still so lazy, do not have a passion to learn, chat, make a noise, do not pay attention to the material presented by the teacher when learning takes place as well as student tend to insecure, afraid and ashamed to express a positive opinion so as to make the classroom atmosphere is not conductive. To overcome the problems did classroom action research that aims to improve the learning process, especially on the active participation of students talking. Talk active participation requires student to engage or participate actively in the learning process, following study well so that student will be trained to browse, locate, and questioning something. Beside, student is expected to express opinion, idea or refutation as well as find a way to solve of Student Created Case Studies learning method which emphasizes the active participation of the student talking on the learning process. Student Created Case Studies is one of the active learning method that uses the type of discussion. This learning method emphasizes the student ability to talk and express their opinion. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) carried out in two cycles and consists of four sessions. The subject is students of V grade in Bodhisattva elementary school academic year 2015/2016 which amounted to 27 students. The data collected in the form of data values students (pre action and evaluation), observations and interviews. Data collected by using the matter, sheets of observations, interviews, and documentation. The research proves that the application of learning method Student Created Case Studies can improve speak active participation of student in subject Buddhist Education on V grade in Bodhisattva Elementary School. The yield increases seen in the implementation of the first cycle, which reached 53,57 % and second cycle increased to 83,21%, increased participation of talk active that occur in the first cycle to the second cycle is 29,64%. Based on the results of this research concluded that the active participation of student talking on V grade in Bodhisattva Elemantary School can be enhanced through the implementation of student learning method Student Created Case Studies.
