Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of effective communication on the effectiveness of teacher education student learning Buddhism class VIII SMP Tri Ratna West Jakarta in 2016. The study was conducted because of the background that happened in class VIII SMP Tri Ratna.When the learning process there are students who do their own activities, students are disruptive to a friend in class, students do not pay attention, students chat with friends in the classroom when learning takes place, there are still students who are idle and there are still students who joke in the classroom when the learning process ongoing.
Communication is the way a person to convey meaning and purpose to others. Someone who conveys the intent and purpose of so-called communicators and who received the message called communicant. One of the supporting achievement of learning goals is an effective communication is done by teachers and students. While the effectiveness of student learning is shown to answer the question of how far the learning objectives have been achieved by learners.
This research is quantitative descriptive. This research subject Tri Ratna junior high school students in West Jakarta VIII class numbering 49 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire with Likert scale. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression using SPSS 16 and followed by t-test.
Based on the results of data processing obtained value of R Square .598 or.598x 100% = 59.8%. Based on these data the effectiveness of student learning effective communication is influenced by teachers at 59.8%. In answer to the hypothesis,the research using a test analysis of the value t arithmetic and t table. T test results obtained at 8.355 with a significance level of 0.000, while the t table with n = 49 and a = 0.05 at get at 1.678. It can be assumed that the Sig> 0.05 so Ha is received while if Sig <0.05, HO is rejected. Judging from the above calculation states that the Sig 0,000 ≤ 0,05 so that HO is rejected.
Based on research conducted that there is effective communication between teachers' influence on the effectiveness of education student learning Buddhism class VIII SMP Tri Ratna Jakarta Barat. Hopefully this research provides an understanding of the importance of effective communication and the effectiveness of student learning teachers, so the teachers constantly improve good communication for their students.
