Abstract

The main result of this research is to know the influence of teacher’s interaction towards study’s results on Buddhist Education subject of classes IV and V in SD Bodhisattva, Bandar Lampung. Teacher’s interaction is a required ability in the learning-teaching process in the way that the teacher is able to create a stable study environment in order to accomplish the students’ goals. The task of the teacher as educator is to create a joyful study environment, not to dominate learning-teaching activities, to build creativity, and to develop self-potency of students through learning-teaching interaction.
Teacher’s interaction is a mutual communication or relationship or two direction relationship between students and teachers, or among students in learning-teaching activities. Interaction is always related to the term of communication and relationship. Study activity is feedback from learning-teaching activities.
The research is quantitative. The method of data analysis is simple linear regression analysis. The population is 67 students of Buddhist education subjects from Class IV and V in SD Bodhisattva, Bandar Lampung. The number of respondent students for the instrument test is 15. Data collection methods are questionnaire, validity test, reliability test with SPSS 16.0 and simple linear regression analysis.
Based on the test analysis of t, the t distribution is 9.856 with a significant degree of 0.000, while the t table with n = 50 and a = 0.05 is 1.674. Thus, assuming t distribution > t table (9.856>1.674) or sig < 0.05 (0.000<0.05), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. For R Square value in this research is 0.660 %, in which the teacher’s interaction has a 66% positive influence towards student’s learning result, while 34% of student’s learning result is influenced by other factors.
Based on data analysis, we can sum up that there are significant influences of the teacher’s interaction towards study’s result on Buddhist Education subject of Class IV and V in SD Bodhisattva, Bandar Lampung, academic year 2016/2017. The number of influence is 66.0% and there are 34% of the study’s results influenced by other factors. The researcher suggests the teachers have good interaction in doing his task as educator for teaching to all students in order to reach optimal KKM.
