Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to know the influence of student‟s attention on learning to learn results in Buddha education subject at Bodhisattva junior high school in Bandar Lampung. Attention is the one that students need while the teacher teaches. But in reality, the students are less attention while the teacher teaches, the rowdy class condition, the students quickly saturated, and often chatting in class resulting in decreased the learning result.
Attention is the activity that a person does in selecting the stimuli coming from the environment (Slameto, 2010: 105). The presence of attention because of stimulus, interest and impression to pay attention to the object. Paying attention into what the teacher explained will have an influence to the learning result. Purwanto (Prasetya, 2012: 107) said that learning result is the change of the students behavior because of the teaching and learning process.
The kind of this research is descriptive quantitative. The data analysis technique using is simple linear regression. The population in this research are 37 students in class VII till IX in Buddha education subject at Bodhisattva Junior High School in Bandar Lampung. Trial responden are 17 students. The data submission technique is by questionnaire with validity and reliability test by SPSS Programme. Then proceed with a simple linear regression analysis.
Based on the result of the hypothesis and simple linear regression test is obtained that t=4.062 with a significance level of 0,000 and t table is 1.689. it is assumed that t count > t table (4.062 > 1.689) or sig. < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), so Ha accepted and H0 rejected. R square in this research is 0,320, which means that students' attention is influenced to learning result about 32,0%.
Based on the result of the data analysis there is the influence of students' attention to learning results in Buddha education subject about 32% and 68% are affected by the others factor which not included in this research.
