Abstract

The research objective was to determine whether there is a relationship between two variables and how much the relationship between motivation with liveliness. This research was conducted in the Sunday School Buddha Vihara Buddha Dhamma Dipa Metro. The problems that occurred in the Sunday school that is some coaches and students play the hand phone when learning took place, students chatting with friends next door, learners lack confidence when expressing their opinions, the lack of communication between the coach and learners, learning methods monotonous, lacking motivated by the learning that takes place.

Motivation to learn is the psychological factor that is intellectual. Its role is growing passion typical, happy and enthusiasm in learning, other than thatThere are two factors that influence student motivation is intrinsic and extrinsic factors. There are fourfactors contained in intrinsic motivation, among others: 1) Talent and carriage. 2) due attention to learning. 3) The level of development. 4) The physical and psychological condition. While extrinsic rewards, there are two factors, among others: 1) Reward and punishment. 2) Selfactualization.activeness of student learning is a learning process that emphasizes students'active physically, mentally, intellectually and emotionally in order to obtain the learning outcomes in the form of a blend of cognitive, affective and psychomotor while a student is in the classroom.

The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using correlation coefficients person with SPSS 16.0. This study was conducted over five months starting from March until the month of August 2018 at 59 weeks of school students in Temple Buddha Buddha Dhamma Dipa Metro. It can be concluded that the relationship between the variables are Motivation with liveliness Sunday School Student Buddhist Temple Buddha Dhamma Dipa Metro. Koofisiensi value obtained a correlation of 0.239. The figure shows that the relationship between these two variables is low. Value of 0.239 indicates the magnitude of the correlation coefficient, and it can be concluded that low because the relationship is in the range from 0.20 to 0.399.
