Abstract
This research aims to find out whether there are any Influence of full-day school on the students of the Bodhisattva senior high school. This research was conducted in the Bodhisattva Senior High school in Bandar Lampung. The issues with the students of the Bodhisattva Senior High School are that they are not able to adapt to the environment, in some cases, they are not able to solve their problems, unable to answer questions with logical reasoning, poor language skills, poor understanding of themselves, and unable to answer questions with proper grammar.
Full-day school means that the student spends the entire day at school. Therefore, they will spend the whole day learning. Intellectual intelligence is of key importance to be able to conduct mental activities, think critically and problem solve.
The method used in this research utilizes descriptive and quantitative method. The subjects of this research are the Senior High School students of the Bodhisattva High School which in total accounts for up to 77 active students. The instrument used in this research is the Likert scale. The data is analyzed by a simple linear regression with the SPSS program 16.0 and continued with the t-test.
Based on the result of the hypothesis test and simple linear regression, we get a t value is 6,545 with a significance level of 0.000, while the t table with n = 77 and a = 0.05 is 1,665. This can be assumed that t hitung>t table (6,545>1,665), therefore Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. While R square in this research is 0,364%, it means full-day school influences intellectual intelligence, in the amount of 36,4%.
Based on the data analysis done, in summary, there is an influence of full-day school on the intellectual intelligence of Bodhisattva Senior High school in Bandar Lampung. The amount of influence is 36,4%, while 63,6% of intellectual intelligence is affected by another factor excluded from this research.
