Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop Interactive video by specific material is meditation to students Buddhist Sunday school and test it to the experts and students. This research was done at Dwipa Nanda Buddhist Sunday school, Pringsewu. The situation occurred in location of the research was the learning and teaching process was conducted conventionally for instance the method used was discourse, the guides only applied the printed books and it was lack of applying of media in teaching. This situation surely made students got bored.
The researcher applied the research and development adopted from Borg and Gall. The level research applied was creating and testing the product like Interactive video. To collect the data, research used observation and did interview. Beside that, researcher had questionnaire to test the validities of product that give to the experts.
Based on the result was got that expert of media provided the mean score about 79% and this score is in good level. It means that the media is ready to be applied in teaching and learning. One the other hands, the expert of material provided the mean score 3.6 and if it is made to percentage, it will be 75%. That percentage shows that the material is good and ready to be used in learning teaching. To make sure for the readers about the effective of this product, researcher conducted the limitation class by having posttest and the score that got from the testing of post test was 93.75. Before the researcher used the product, the score that students got was 42.50. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of interactive video is very effective in helping the learning process. Even the
researcher did analysis about the t score to test the hypothesis. Based the analysis of data shows that the t score is -9.944. The meaningful quality of learning media based on the Ngain testing got the score 3,42. It was expected the score was very high. The attractiveness test qualification obtained a percentage of 95% with 4 very attractive categories.
