Abstract
Learning model that applied is still monotonous and many students are less active. Learning only dominated by certain students. The problem leads to the lack of learning result. The purpose of this reserach is to determine the improvement of student learning Buddhist education through the application of learning model Cooperative Type Think Pair Share in 2nd grades in Bodhisattva Junior High School Bandar Lampung.
Learning model Cooperative Type Think Pair Share is learning model that gives more time to student to think material that explained (think, answer, and help each other).This model is very efective to use in teaching a group that guided by teacher.
The method that use in this research is research method of action research(PTK)that implemented in 2 cycles and consist of 6 times for meeting. Cycle in this research cover of planning, implementstion, observation, and reflection. Whereas the technique of collecting by observation, interview, dan documentation.
The result of this research proof that the implementation of learning model Cooperative Type Think Pair Share able to improve the result of student learning in Buddhist religion subject in 2nd grades in Bodhisattva Junior High School Bandar Lampung.The result of this improvement seen in the first cycle that reach the result of learn is 79,6 and in the second cycle increase from 10,7 to 90,3.
Based on the result of research can conclude that the result of student learn in 2nd grades in Bodhisattva Junior High School Bandar Lampung can increased through the implementation of learning model Cooperative Type Think Pair Share. Learning model of Cooperative Type Think Pair Share can also implemented by teacher to optimize the result of student learning.
