Abstract
The purpose of this research is to develop e-module based learning media with the material of the Four Noble Truths. The research was conducted because the learning media used were only textbooks and the teacher's learning process was more dominant in delivering material using the lecture method.
Leaming media can be understood as anything that can convey or convey messages from sources in a planned manner, so as to create a conducive learning environment where recipients can carry out the learning process efficiently and effectively (Rayanda Asyar, 2012: 8).
The research method is research and development (R&D or research and development). The research subjects were 22 students of the Sunday School (SMB) of Vihara Brahma Vira Lampung Timur. The data collection technique used observation, namely the product validation sheet. Based on the data analysis, the validation value of the media expert was 77.5%, and the material expert validation was 82.5%.
The results of the data analysis show that "Development of Electronic Module⢠Based Learning Media on the Material of the Four Noble Truths for Buddhist Sunday Schools (SMB), Vihara Brahma Wira Lampung Timur is feasible to be applied in teaching Buddhist religious education in Indonesia. "Brahma Vira Vihara Sunday School", because data analysis shows there are differences in student learning outcomes between before and after the existence of e-module learning. For this reason Sunday School Instructors are expected to implement e-modules in the learning process and socialize products or applications to students. also suggest other researchers to develop other materials.
