Abstract
Learning is a process of interaction between teacher and student. Teacher is the most important component to realizing the goal of learning. The problem that occurs when learning takes place is, some students are less active in participating subjects, lack of motivation to learn cause students do not pay attention to the teacher when delivering the lesson. The purpose of this research is to provide a picture of the problem solving of students who are less active in participating in learning activities in Pelita Bangsa Elementary School.
Pedagogic competency is unified whole that illustrates the potential,knowledge, skill, and teacher attitude as educator, the ability of a teacher to manage the learning directly related to the student. Motivation to learn is the main driving force or the driving force for a person to strive to achieve learning objective.
This research includes quantitative descriptive data research with processing technique based on the results of the deployment of the instrument. Tool to collect data such as a questionnaire. The number of respondent as many as 31 students in Pelita Bangsa Elementary School. The measures used to test the effect of using simple linear regression using SPSS 16.
Based on the results of data processing and analysis with the assistance of SPSS 16 obtained value of R square of 0.516 or 51.6% means that pedagogical significant effect on students' motivation in primary schools Pelita Nations and 0.484 or 48.4% influenced by other factors not examined in this research.
Based on this research, pedagogic competency' Buddhist teacher influence on student motivation, the writer proposes suggestions as follows: 1) as teachers should have the ability to manage a class well so learning undertaken can be run better 2) the results of this researh can be a reference to allow further research conducted in order to obtain a higher ability.
