The purpose of this research is to find out the influence and prove how much influence the Pedagogic Competence of Buddhist Education Teachers Against Student Interest in Class X of Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung High School in 2017-2018 Academic Year.
Pedagogic competence is the ability of teachers to manage student learning. A teacher in carrying out learning must certainly be able to manage the class well. This quantitative research uses Field Research research. The subject of this study was Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung High School consisting of 52 students. The instrument used is a Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis approach. The test results from simple linear regression obtained the values of t count 9.754 with a significance level of 0.000.
This can assume that t count> t table (9.754> 1.676) or sig <0.05 (0.000 <0.05), then Ha is accepted and HO rejected, while the R Sguare value in this study was 65.6%, which means that pedagogic competence affects students' learning interest by 34.4%.
