Abstract

The researcher aims to find out how much influence the recitation method (assignment) on student learning outcomes (affective), this research is conducted because during the learning process there are still many students who do not pay attention to the teacher and are busy with friends next to them, so some students do not understand the material delivered by the teacher. this research was conducted at Bodhisattva Junior High School Jl. Dr Setia Budi No 7/8 Ex. Kuripan Kec. Teluk Betung Barat - Bandar Lampung.
The recitation method (assignment) is a method that is able to stimulate children to actively learn both individually or in groups so as to be able to foster habits to learn to find and find and develop courage and responsibility towards themselves. Students who learn without waiting for instructions/orders from the teacher will develop faster, both in mindset and knowledge.
The method used in this study uses descriptive quantitative research, the subject of this study is class VII students of Bodhisattva Junior High School Bandar Lampung in 2017/2018, totalling 26 students. Experiment tests were conducted at SMP Negeri 21 Pesawaran with 15 respondents. The instrument used is a Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis approach.
Based on the data analysis, the results of simple linear regression testing obtained the value of t= 12,372 and Sig 0,000, the interpretation of the results obtained is Sig 0,000 = 0% <5% means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. While the R square in this study is 0.864, which means that the recitation method has an effect on 86.4% (affective) learning outcomes.
Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, it is concluded that there is an influence of the recitation method on learning outcomes (affective) in the eyes of Buddhist education class VII in Bodhisattva Junior High School Bandar Lampung in 2017/2018. The magnitude of the influence is 86.4%, and there are still 13.6% (affective) learning outcomes that are influenced by other factors.
