Abstract

The aim of this research measure and comprehend the influence of student learning discipline on student learning result in subjects of X and XI Buddhism in SMA Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung. Discipline is an attitude of obedience to the time and existing regulations. By time discipline in teaching and learning activities students will learn to have responsibility for the rules that exist in the school environment and in the surrounding environment. In fact, students still lack discipline. It is defined as a person's ability to regularly, diligently, continuously, work according to the rules that apply by not violating the rules set. Because discipline is obedient to commands and rules where individuals can develop the ability to discipline themselves as one of the characteristics of individual maturity Hasibuan (2003) in Ma'arif & Kartika, (2012: 95).
This type of research is correlational research, that is researching the effect of student learning discipline on student learning outcomes in class X and XI classes of Buddhism in Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung High School in 2018/2019. Correlational research which is the relationship between variables by analyzing numerical data (numbers) using statistical methods through hypothesis testing. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of class X and class XI on Buddhist education subjects at Bandar Lampung Bodhisattva High School, totalling 68 students. The number of students who were used as respondents of the instrument trials in this study were 14 students. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, validity and reliability tests were carried out using the SPSS 16.0 program, then proceed with a simple linear regression analysis.
Based on the results of hypothesis testing and simple linear regression obtained t count of 4.425 with a significant level of 0.000, while t table with n = 54 and a = 0.05 of 1.673. It can be assumed that t arithmetic> t table (4,425> 1,673) or sig <0.05 (0.000> 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. For the value of R square in this study is 0.274 which means that student learning discipline influences student learning outcomes 27.4%. Based on the results of the analysis of the data that has been done, it is concluded that there is an influence of student learning discipline on student learning outcomes in subjects of Buddhist education class X and XI in Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung High School in 2018/2019.The magnitude of the influence is 27.4%, while 72.6% of student learning outcomes are influenced by other factors not included in this study.
