Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine whether there are contributing most to the factors that cause the low high school students' motivation Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung. Motivation to learn is the main source to be possessed by the student so that the activities can be achieved with either. With the motivation to learn, the students will be able to achieve a desired goal.
Motivation is the driving force or pull that causes the behavior towards a particular goal.Learners will mean it because it has a high motivation. A student will learn if there are so-called motivational factor driving. Motivation is the overall driving force that encourages a person to perform activities in order to meet the desired objectives.
This research method the authors used quantitative deskriptifrescarch because this method as a scientific method and research data and figures in the form of statistical analysis. Object of this study is the high school student Bodhisattva Bandar Lampung consisting of 55 students. This research technique of collecting data through observation and tests. Authors use a count data analysis using SPSS 16.0 statistics. Data processing is done by means of descriptive analysis is a technical writing menabulasi previous data obtained through the deployment of the instrument and then analyzed by quantitative flow guidelines.
The research proves that the factors causing low student motivation is more dominant to external factors, namely the level of development of students who obtained a value of 0.5> 0.240. So based on the results obtained that the growth rate is a factor that influences the distribution of the most major causes of low motivation to learn.
Based on the results and discussion of the study, the researchers concluded that of the various factors that there is no one on the motivation that lead to low student motivation is that of the student's developmental level is a factor with a value of 0.24. Factors that influence the level of development has a high in the low student motivation.
