Abstract

Education is something that is very important in human life to destroy foolishness because education is a basic requirement to produce quality students so that education is provided based on developmental stages of learners, so that achievement can be achieved.
Buddhism in elementary education Bodhisattva felt less than optimal, especially in class V. The use of classical lecture method is lacking to achieve maximum results, it is because the implementation of learning is dominated by teachers, so that students are less active class. in the learning process may influence the success rate of students, so that obtained less than optimal performance.
The selection of teaching methods so that students can play an active role and the néed to develop a method of learning that can involve the participation of students to interact between teachers and students through the activities of the question. Mulyasa, Hasibuan (Trianto, 2006:79), small group discussion is a process of regular conversation, which involves a group of people in a face-to-face interaction that isfree and open, with a variety of information or experience, make decisions, or solve a problem.
This research is a case study experiment with the technique, which is to determine the effect of small group discussion method of learning achievement of Buddhist education students through validity and reliability to examine the validity and reliability of the instrument.
Based on the analysis of the data obtained shows that there is a conclusion that Influence Learning Implementation Method Small Group Discussion Against Student Achievement Fund Class V In the Matter of Truth, which is shown by a simple linear statistical result obtained r2 = 0.660, at the 0.05 significance level and the results of the t test obtained t = 4.125> t table 1.171.
