Pengaruh Cinta Kasih Terhadap Interaksi Sosial Mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Agama Buddha (STIAB) Jinarakkhita Bandar Lampung Tahun Akademik 2019/2020

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence and how much influence love has on the social interactions of STIAB Jinarakkhita students in Bandar Lampung for the 2019/2020 academic year. Researchers are interested in taking this research because researchers found several problems that occurred to STIAB Jinarakkhita Bandar Lampung students, namely there are still students who do not care about their fellow campus friends, there are still students who do not greet each other from one campus, there is still an indifference between friends from one campus and there are still students who are selfish. Love can be interpreted as feeling (affection) for someone accompanied by compassion and a sense of care for others. Loving kindness has several indicators that are used as a measuring tool, namely gentle, not arrogant, honest, easy to serve, humble, not busy. Meanwhile, Social Interaction can be interpreted as a dynamic social relationship. The social relationship in question can be in the form of a relationship between one individual and another. Social interaction has several measurement indicators, namely conversation, mutual understanding, openness, cooperation, empathy, providing support and motivation. The methodology used by researchers is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques and tools used by the researcher are in the form of a closed questionnaire which contains statements of the Love variable (X) and the Social Interaction (Y) variable. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used by the researcher includes instrument validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, descriptive analysis, simple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing. The results obtained from this study are that there is an influence of love on the social interaction of students of the Jinarakkhita College of Buddhism (STIAB) in the Jinarakkhita Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2019/2020 amounting to 60.2% and 39.8% influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that love has an effect on the social interaction of students of the Jinarakkhita School of Buddhism (STIAB) in Bandar Lampung for the 2019/2020 academic year. The influence of love on the social interaction of students of the Jinarakkhita College of Buddhism (STIAB) in Bandar Lampung for the 2019/2020 Academic Year is 60.2%. At the interval scale, the effect of love on the social interaction of Jinarakkhita Buddhist High School (STIAB) students with a percentage of 39.8%.
