Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the influence of contextual learning to student
leaning outcomes. This study did in Jinarakkhita Buddhist college Bandar Lampung. The problem most often faced by students is still less understanding of the material presented by the lecturer; the attitude of students not paying attention to the surrounding environment as a source of learning; The approach method used by the lecturer in delivering courses is still not connecting the material with the daily experiences of students so that the material presented cannot be well received by students.
Contextual learning is one that emphasizes that students must know the implementation of the knowledge they acquire so that this knowledge will be meaningful to students. This study is included in descriptive quantitative research with data processing techniques based on the result of instrument distribution. The data is collect by the questionnaire in 46 items statements using a likert scale on the answer. The population in this study were 64 students. The finale result of this study were obtained through the simple linear regression test with SPSS Statistics 23.
Based on the results of hypothesis testing and simple linear regression, the t value is 9.087, while the t table of 52 respondents with dk n-2 respondents with a significance level of 0.05 is known to be 0,268. based on this, it can be seen that t count> t apie (9.087> 0,268) or sig <0.05 (0.00> 0.05), so it can be seen that the two variables have a positive regression relationship and there is an influence between contextual learning variables (X) and student learning outcomes variables (Y). These results indicate that Ho rejected Ha accepted. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is a relationship with contextual learning with the learning outcomes of students at the Jinarakkhita Buddhist collage, Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2020. The amount of influence is 62,3% while 38,7% is influenced by other factors besides contextual learning.
