Abstract
The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of personal competence education teacher of Buddhism on student motivation at Bodhisattva Junior high school Bandar Lampung. Personal competence is a good personality to himself, be prudent and vise, mature and dignified and noble to be a good role model for learners in education to each Buddhism. Personal competence of teachers is the basis for the capital in question. Educational activities are a specialization in personal communication between teachers and students. This form of personal competence, steady and stable personality, mature, wise, dignified, and noble character.
Buddha explained, "Someone who has a lot of knowledge, expertise and skills, as well as training in ethics, is a major blessing". Motivation to learn is the overall driving force within the students that lead to learning activities. There are two actors that influence student motivation. These factors are grouped into intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Word of the Buddha to the students to have the motivation, "Go! Sit upright-upright! Practise steadily to achieve peace. Do not let the evil king fool into power, knowing you off guard ".his research is a quantitative data collection techniques based on the results of the Itployment of the instrument.
Tool to collect data in the form of a questionnaire with 62 items with several statements using a Likert scale to answer. The total population in this. study a total of 32 respondents. The measures used to test the effect of using simple linear regression followed by a t-test. Based on the analysis of test results the t value that was obtained by 12.156 with i significant level of 0.000 0.05 which means that there is the influence of personal competence of teachers to the motivation to learn student. While the R square there is an idea of 0,831 it can be concluded that there is the influence of personality competence Buddhist teacher education on student motivation at Bodhisattva Junior high school Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2014/2015 amounted to 83.1% and 16.9% influenced by other actors outside the competence of the teacher's personality.
Based on the research results, Researchers concluded that there the influence of personality competence Buddhist teacher education on student motivation at Bodhisattva junior high school Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2014/2015. The author gives advice o institutions Bodhisattva junior high school. In order to provide input and 'encouragement of teachers to develop the competence of teachers one personal competence. So with personal competence will make the students have the motivation to earn, with high motivation to learn which of course will make students more eager to learn .ti that all students are expected to get a good learning achievement.
